Has God given you a dream that you feel lead to hold on to, but
everything around you begs the question, “How in the world will it
come true”?
Well, I too have asked the same question on my journey to do my
part to bring God’s dream to fruition.
It’s been an amazing month! Each day has offered a million
little moments that produced a rainbow of emotions, some
have stayed with me and others come and gone without notice.
But, one moment was especially powerful and I wanted to share it
with you in hopes that you stay encouraged not to abandon God’s
purpose for your life.
I’ve prepared a preview from my new Christian Business Women’s
Radio Show. The segment is called Empowering Moments.

I pray this message inspires you to hold fast to your dreams and
encourages you to stay the course against all odds.
Until next time,
Take Care of You,

Female entrepreneurs already possess a number of strengths that other people don’t. You’re a risk taker. You are an innovator and you’re a doer. You take matters into your own hands to create the life you desire. You might even be a rule breaker as well. However, chances are you’re also facing some unexpected challenges.
Let’s take a look at three of them and how you might use your power and skills to overcome them.
1.) The Challenge of Balance
Many female entrepreneurs are work-a-holics. This is great because it means you love your business and what you’re doing. That being said, all work and no play can cause problems even if you love what you’re doing.
You may find that friends and family are getting annoyed or feel rejected. You may find that other areas of your life are forgotten. For example, you prefer to work rather than attend that fitness class you used to love. Or you may find that all of a sudden you feel burnt out and the joy you once felt is now waning.
While the definition of a balanced life is different for everyone, you can use your ability to identify and solve problems to regain balance in your life. Identify what is causing a lack of balance and where you’d like to refocus some of your time and create solutions to make it happen.
2.) Vanishing Confidence
Being an entrepreneur means taking risks. And, of course, when you take risks, there is the very real chance of failure. A few failures or struggles and you may find that your confidence is disappearing faster than birthday cake at a kindergarten party. Regain your self-confidence by focusing on goals that you know you can achieve. Create a pattern of consistent success. Also, take the time to reframe any failures or struggles so they are viewed in a positive light. For example, if you lost a client, review how and why you lost them and use it as a learning tool to attract and retain your ideal clients.
3.) Doing Too Much
Women are notorious for trying to do everything themselves. They simply take on too much. As a female entrepreneur you’re already taking on the world. You’ve decided that you can have your cake and eat it too and you’re right, you can. However, you can’t do everything yourself. In order to make the best use of your time and to stay sane and productive, it makes good business sense to enlist help. Don’t think you can afford to get help? Truth is you can’t afford NOT to get help. Nevertheless, stay tuned for future articles to read about some creative and even f.r.e.e ways to get support in your business. But in the meanwhile, identify those key areas where you excel and enjoy the work and look for technology to help you with the other areas.
Though sometimes it can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and yes, stressful, you have innate and God-given abilities as a woman entrepreneur. Use them to identify your challenges, trust God to help you to create solutions that best fit your needs, and use your skills and strengths to take action. When unexpected challenges arise, confront them with the confidence and courage you have inside you. Then, above all remember and know that as a believer, you have a loving God to support and take care of you, and He is so much bigger than any challenge that you can ever face.
Sometimes in our lives it can feel like the saying “when it rains it pours” was created just to describe what we are going through at the moment. When life rains on you (and if it hasn’t yet-wait for it, because it will), you have two choices a) stand there and get wet or b) Enjoy a refreshing dance.
I recently had another chance to dance in the rain and practice the steps I outlined in Part 1 of this video series. I wrap up with two more steps on how to claim victory over life’s storms while keeping the beat of God’s purpose and plan for your life. I pray that this message blesses and encourages you during your life’s challenges.

5 Keys to Strengthen Your Confidence and Attract Success Into Your Life and Business
Too many people overvalue what they are not, and undervalue what they are.
~ Malcolm S. Forbes quotes
Do you fall into this category?
Many people make the mistake of looking at the success of others and assuming they have some mystical ability, a magic formula for success, and/or they must be able to fearlessly communicate and that is why they are successful. The truth is…these people have trepidations just like you do.
The difference? They make their fears work for them instead of getting trapped in them. People who are most successful, understand that success or failure starts in the mind. How we view ourselves and the world around us contributes greatly to whether or not we achieve success. Change the way you view yourself and you can change your life!
Here are 5 keys to unlocking a powerful confidence that fuels the success of your life and business…
1. Unlock Your Profitable Confidence: Without confidence you can only go so far and achieve so much. In order to find your profit attracting confidence you must stretch yourself to your fullest potential. If there is something that scares you, do it afraid. You will soon find yourself in a new and powerful place that commands.
2. Unlock Your Know and Filter OUT the Noise: Invest in yourself and your vision and filter out the critics. The more you know about your vision, the more centered and confident you’ll be in your direction. Don’t be discouraged by nay sayers who can’t see your vision. Remember, people like Bill Gates and Oprah did not get to where they are by playing small and by the “rules”. They believed in themselves, got educated and stepped out in the confidence that they could make a huge impact in the world and so can you!
3. Be Aggressively Curious: One of the best ways to ease anxiety while talking with and networking with others, is to take the focus off of you and apply it to the other person. People love to talk about themselves. Ask them about who they are, what they do, their family etc… Just think about how interesting you feel when someone gets curious about who you are.
4. Conquer Your Inner Gremlin: Our biggest obstacles don’t come from what others say about us and our abilities, but the negative lies we tell ourselves about who we are and what we can accomplish. A gremlin is your “inner critic” it’s an emotionally charged statement that typically begins with “I”. It sounds like “I can never be wealthy” or “I’m not good enough”. Because of the emotional charge behind these types of statements, it keeps you from creating what you want in your life.
5. Treat Yourself Well: In the day to day grind to make it happen, don’t neglect your health and peace of mind. Make time to pamper yourself and show yourself how special you really are! Honor your mind, body and spirit. Taking time for self care allows you to re-energize and get back to your work refreshed and with a renewed confidence.
If you are not progressing in your life or business in the way you would like, if there are things you know you need to do to progress and you aren’t doing them, remember to strengthen your confidence using these keys to help unlock a flow of cash, clients, and success into your business and life .
